Abstract
These Regulations prescribe measures to prevent the spreading of diseases affecting poultry. Regulation 2 introduces the obligation to notify the occurrence of a disease, whereas regulation 3 concerns the notification of infected places. No poultry nor the carcass of any poultry nor any portion of such carcass (except dressed carcasses for human consumption) shall be moved out of or into, or from place to place within any infected place or area except in accordance with the terms of a permit in writing given by an inspector and persons in charge of poultry on separate premises within an infected place or infected area shall cause such poultry to be isolated from poultry on adjoining premises within or upon the boundary of the infected place or infected area. An inspector may order destruction of infected poultry. (14 regulations)
