Abstract
These Regulations enact the Animal Health and Protection Act laying down provisions relating to animal health and protection. In particular they regulate: designation of inspector; factors that may be considered when determining whether a disease should be designated as a provincially notifiable disease or provincially reportable disease; mandatory reporting of notifiable and reportable diseases; the establishment of quarantine area by the Chief Veterinary Officer and the applicable restrictions; establishment of a surveillance zone.
