Abstract
The present Regulations enact the Natural Products Act. In particular, the Regulations provides for the licensing of cattle producers establishing that a person must not raise, buy, sell or process beef cattle in the regulated area without a licence of a type that authorizes them to do so. There are three types of licence: a) grower licence; b) livestock dealer licence; c) processor licence. The text – consisting of 19 sections deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: issuing licence, licence application, licensing fees, form of licence, licence terms and conditions, refusing to grant licence, refusing to renew, suspending or revoking a licence, levies, reporting and records, recovery of fees and levies.
