Abstract
The present Regulation enacts section 96 of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to drilling and production of minerals. The text consists of 105 sections divided into 9 Parts as follows: Interpretation and administration (1); Well positions, spacing and target areas (2); Well authorizations (3); Well operations (4); Well abandonment (5); Well data (6); Prevention of damages, fires, injuries and losses (7); Production operations (8); Notification and compliance (9). Four Schedules are enclosed.
