Abstract
The present Regulation enacts sections 48 and 49 of the Drinking Water Protection Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to water quality standards. The text consists of 15 sections as follows: Definitions (1); Standards for potable water (2) Domestic water system (3); Prescribed water supply systems (4); Treatment (5); Construction permits (6); Operating permits and fees (7); Water monitoring analysis (8); Immediate reporting standard (9); Public notification (10); Time limits for publication (11); Qualification standards for persons operating water supply systems (12); Emergency response and contingency plan (13); Well flood proofing (14); Assessment response plan (15). Three Schedules are enclosed.
