Abstract
The present Regulations enact the Food and Drugs Act. Part A concerns Administration. Part B regulates food, in particular: nutrition symbol mandatory information and location; nutrition labelling core information and additional information, information for special dietary uses food, format; nutrient content claims and health claims; alcoholic beverages; food coloring; spices, dressing and seasoning; dairy products; fats and oils; flavouring preparation; fruit and vegetables; water; grains; meat; food adulteration; food additives; salt; marine and freshwater animal products; poultry; packaging material; infant food; novel food; supplemented food and nutritional labelling; among others. Part C regulates drugs, these include veterinary drugs and vaccine. It concerns licensing, manufacturing, handling, processing, etc. Part D entails vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
