Abstract
The present Regulations were made under the Ground Water Conservation Act which was repealed, but these Regulations continue under the Saskatchewan Watershed Authority Act, 2005. In particular, the Regulations lay down comprehensive provisions relating to issues concerning groundwater. The text consists of 38 sections divided into 6 Parts as follows: Permit for ground water exploration (I); Registration of machines for drilling (II); Drilling and evaluation (III); Abandonment of test holes and wells (IV); Use of groundwater (V); Licensees under the Mineral Resources Act or the Oil and Gas Conservation Act (VI).
