Abstract
This Regulation applies to honey produced in Alberta and that is to be sold in Alberta. It requires all persons involved in the production and marketing of honey to comply with the Federal Honey Regulations. Section 4 sets requirements for containers of honey sold directly at a beekeeper's honey house or residence or at a farmers' market. Section 5 requires all honey to be graded before it is sold, the grades that apply are those set by the Federal Honey Regulations.
Entry into force notes
For the purpose of ensuring its revision, this regulation expires on 31 May 2016.
Notes
This Regulation repeals the Honey Grading Regulation (AR 277/84).The present Regulation is consolidated up to 67/2011.
