Abstract
The present Regulation is enacted under the Animal Health Act. At the outset the Regulation contains the definition of certain terms such as, “chief provincial veterinarian”, “contributor”, “livestock assembling station”, “livestock market”, “operator”. Section 2 establishes that the operator of a livestock market or livestock assembling station shall keep a detailed record of each transaction relating to livestock that takes place at the facility. The text consists of 7 sections as follows: Definitions (1); Records (2); Inspector’s access to records (3); Assistance to inspectors (4); Order to detain livestock (5); Order to close (6); Expiry (7).
Entry into force notes
For the purpose of ensuring its revision, this Regulation expires on 30 November 2015.
