Abstract
The present Act enacts the Mines and Minerals Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the application, granting, renewal and cancellation of mineral exploration licences. The text consists of 52 sections divided into 10 Parts as follows: Interpretation (1); Administration (2); Licences (3); Claims (4); Mineral leases (5); Surface leases (6); Transfers and assignments (7); Statistical return and mine plans (8); Interest (9); Repeal and coming into force (10). Five Schedules are enclosed.
