Abstract
The present Regulation is made under the Mines and Minerals Act (RSA 2000, c. M-17). The Regulation lays down provisions relating to the payment of royalties concerning natural gas. The text consists of 56 sections divided into 6 Parts as follows: General (1); Royalty (2); Transitional well events (2.1); Administration and enforcement (3); Consequential amendments, expiry and coming into force (4). Seven Schedules are enclosed.
Entry into force notes
The present Regulation comes into force on 1 January 2009. For the purpose of ensuring its revision, this Regulation expires on 30 November 2018.
