Abstract
The present Regulation is made under the Food and Agricultural Products Classification Act. The purpose of this Regulation is to continue a certification programme established by the previous Regulation for the purposes of the Act, and is named the Organic Food and Agricultural Products Certification Program. The purpose of this Programme is to: a) certify operators who meet organic production standards, and b) enable certified operators to use organic protected labels. The text consists of 10 sections as follows: Definitions (1); Certification programme continued Administrator (3); Certified Organic Associations of British Columbia (4); Certifying agencies (5); Verification officers (6); Issuing certificates (7); Appeals of decisions (8); Duties on being certified (9); Transition (10); Protected labels with respect to certification (11).
