Abstract
The present Regulations enact the Natural Products Act. The Regulations lay down provisions relating to the production and marketing of hogs. Section 5 establishes that a person must not produce hogs in the regulated area without a valid licence issued by the Commodity Board. The text – consisting of 25 sections – deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: licensing and registration, requirement to hold licence, types of licences, licensing fees, applying for licence, Commodity Board, licensee registration, form of licence, licence terms and conditions, licence expiry and renewal, recommendation to Council to suspend, revoke or refuse to grant or renew licence, marketing, booking system, market price, levies, reporting and records, slaughter report, records.
