Abstract
The present Regulations enact the Agriculture and Marketing Act. The Regulations lay down provisions relating to the grading, packing, marking, inspecting, advertising and sale of eggs. Section 3 establishes that all containers of eggs sold, offered for sale or held in possession for sale in the Province of Nova Scotia, must be marked with one of the terms to indicate the grade of eggs listed in this section. The text – consisting of 31 sections – deals, amongst others, with the following aspects: ungraded eggs, egg station registration, records, payment for eggs, wholesalers, advertising and licences.
