Abstract
The present Regulation is enacted under the Animal Health Act. In particular, the Regulation enhances Alberta’s capacity to track animals from farm to slaughter. Section 3 establishes that a producer must apply, to each head of swine, an approved swine identifier prior to transporting the swine or loading the swine for transport. The text consists of 13 sections.
