Abstract
This Regulation enacts section 157 of the Forest Act R.S.B.C 1996. It identifies timber marking requirements. When storing timber (sect. 3); when transporting timber over land (sect. 4) and water (sect. 5). It also outlines Scaled timber brand requirements when transporting over land, (sect. 7) and over water, (sect. 7.1). There are exceptions to these requirements in section 6 and 8. Moreover detailed records must be kept when transporting timber, detailed in section 10, and it is an offence to contravene section 10.
