Abstract
The present Regulations are made under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. These Regulations apply to the importation, advertising and sale of toys. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to protection of children from toys made of hazardous materials. The text – consisting of 48 sections - deals with the follows aspects: packaging, electrical hazards, mechanical hazards, toxicological hazards, specified products. Seven Schedules are enclosed.
