Abstract
Section 1 of the above-mentioned Regulation establishes that “waste electrical and electronic equipment” means a device that is waste, that required an electric current to operate. The text consists of 2 sections and 7 Schedules listing which devices are to be considered as “waste electronic and electronic equipment”: Household appliances (1); Information technology equipment (2); Telecommunications equipment (3); Audio-visual equipment(4); Toys, leisure equipment and sports equipment (5); Electrical and electronic tools (6) Navigational, measuring, monitoring, medical or control instruments (7).
