Abstract
The subject of this agreement is to promote communication, cooperation and joint work in the fields of maritime fishery, freshwater fishery, and development in aquaculture in accordance with each of the Parties' national legislation and policies. The Parties have agreed to cooperate on: (I) preventing, deterring and eliminating illegal, unreported and unregulated fisheries activities, (II) exchange of information and data in any field relevant to fisheries and aquaculture, (III) share experiences of assessments on research and storage areas, (IV) share experiences and information in developing aquaculture, (V) conduct activities of research and development in the fields of fresh-water fisheries and aquaculture, and (VI) promote and support joint ventures between business communities that operate in the fields of fisheries, aquaculture and other relevant activities. The dispute may be solved through negotiation and consultation between the Parties. This Agreement shall be valid for five years and may be extended for successive period of five years unless terminated by written notice requiring six months through diplomatic channels.
