Abstract
The present Decision enforces the Introductory Law relating to the Federal Act on protection of waters (Implementing Water Protection Law) of 25 April 1993. The purpose of the present Decision is the correct and efficient enforcement of the afore-mentioned law in the Canton Appenzell-Innerrhoden. In particular, it is prohibited to introduce wastewater in sewerage facilities which is harmful or impairs its cleaning process. The wastewater has to comply with the updated provisions on introduction of sewerage water in public facilities. The text consists of 18 articles divided into 4 Parts as follows: Competences (I); Connection of properties (II); Financing, charges (III); Transitional and final provisions (IV).
