Abstract
The present Law regulates the sustainable and responsible exercise of fishing in surface waters in public and private waters. Article 2 establishes that the Canton transfers the right to exercise fishing and the related obligations by lease or issuing of fishing permits to owners of fishing rights. The text consists of 33 articles divided into 8 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Fisheries (2); Species and habitat protection (3); Fisheries authorities (4); Fisheries control (5); Education and information (6); Penalties (7); Transitional and final provisions (8).
Entry into force notes
The present Law enters into force on 1 July 2013.
