Abstract
The present Law implements the Federal Act on fisheries of 21 June 1991. In particular, the purpose of the Law is to: a) enforce the federal legislation on the subject; b) regulate the management of cantonal fishing waters; c) promote fishing in the Canton. The Law is applicable to private and public waters. The text consists of 24 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: Purpose and sphere of application (1); Protection and utilization of fish, crabs and fish food (2); Fisheries in public waters (3); Promotion of fisheries (4); Enforcement (5); Final provisions (6).
Entry into force notes
The present Law enters into force 1 January 1995.
Notes
The present Law is updated as of 1 January 2012.The present Law repeals the Law on the same subject of 25 May 1961.
