Biosecurity (Fees, Charges, and Penalties) Regulations 2025.

Schedule 1 of these Regulations sets out: (i) fee for biosecurity landing clearance or port quarantine clearance for vessel, including but not limited to: fishing vessels, or aircraft; (ii) fee for inspection of article or consignment at biosecurity point of entry; (iii) fee for the issuance of sanitary and phytosanitary certificates for large fruit trees, live animals and other plant products; (iv) application fee for biosecurity export clearance of article or consignment; (v) fees and charges for keeping items in biosecurity quarantine; (vi) fee for taking and analysis of sample; (vii) fee for inspection of biosecurity register; etc. Schedule 2 lays down fixed penalties for the offences listed in the schedule.
