Abstract
This Act amends the Shipping Registry Act with respect to the application for the registration under the principal Act of small ships, i.e. any ship which is less than 35 metres in length or less than 200 gross tonnes. The Registrar of Ships may register such ships at his or her discretion and may exempt any ship registered under this Act from such of the provisions of this Act as the Registrar may determine.
