Abstract
These Measures are formulated to strengthen the management of earthquake safety evaluation, prevent and reduce earthquake disasters, and protect the safety of people's lives and property. The text consists of 22 Articles.
The following construction projects must undergo seismic safety evaluation: （1） Construction projects that have significant value or impact on society; （2） Construction projects that may cause floods, fires, explosions, large-scale leaks of highly toxic or corrosive substances, radioactive pollution, or other serious secondary disasters after being damaged by earthquakes; （3） Other construction projects that require seismic safety evaluation as stipulated in Article 9 of these Measures. The department in charge of earthquake work under the people's government at or above the county level shall strengthen supervision and inspection of earthquake safety evaluation work.
