Announcement on Adjusting and Revising the “Catalog of Solid Waste Prohibited from Importation”, the “Catalog of Solid Waste that Can Be Used as Raw Materials under Import Restrictions,” and the “Catalog of Solid Waste that Can Be Used as Raw Material under Automatic Import Licensing” Issued in 2009.

This Announcement is a joint Announcement No. 80 [2014] of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Commerce, the National Development and Reform Commission, the General Administration of Customs, and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
According to the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Solid Waste Pollution Prevention and Control", the "Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal", "Administrative Measures on the Importation of Solid Waste" and other relevant laws and regulations, the “Catalog of Solid Waste Prohibited from Importation”, the “Catalog of Solid Waste that Can Be Used as Raw Materials under Import Restrictions,” and the “Catalog of Solid Waste that Can Be Used as Raw Material under Automatic Import Licensing” Issued in 2009 were revised and the revised version is now published. This Announcement shall be implemented from January 1, 2015.
