Abstract
These Administrative Measures regulate the environmental administration of the import of solid waste and prevent environmental pollution caused by solid waste.
The Measures specify solid waste which is not allowed to be imported and stipulates that the environmental protection administrative department of the State Council shall formulate, adjust and publish a catalogue of solid waste prohibited or restricted from import or eligible for automatic licensed import.
The Measures provide for the administration of the licence for the import of solid waste; inspection, quarantine and customs formalities; special measures for zones and places under special customs supervision; penalties; etc.
