Abstract
These Announcement is enacted in accordance with the Fisheries Law of the People's Republic of China, aiming to better restore the ecological environment of the waters.
The Ministry has decided to implement a comprehensive ban on fishing in the Chishui River Basin.
The prohibited fishing areas are All natural waters in Chishui River Basin above the estuary of Chishui River in Hejiang County, Sichuan Province (E 105 degrees 50'37.17 and N 28 degrees 48'12.62). Fishing prohibition period will be 10 years.
