Abstract
In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Regulations on the Administration of Veterinary Drugs and the Regulation on the Administration of Feed and Feed Additives, and in accordance with the National Action Plan for Containing Antimicrobial Resistance (2016-2020) and the National Action Plan for Containing Antimicrobial Resistance of Animal Origin (2017-2020), the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has issued Announcement No. 194 to stop the production, import, operation and use of some drug feed additives. This Announcement No. 246 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs is regarding to the revision of relevant veterinary product quality standards and changes in approval numbers.
The relevant matters are announced, including: From January 1, 2020, the quality standards for medicinal feed additives that are only used for growth promotion will be abolished (see Appendix 1 for the catalogue), and the relevant veterinary product approval numbers and imported veterinary drug registration certificates will be cancelled (see Appendix 2 for the catalogue).
