Announcement No. 62, 2013 of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine--Announcement on Publishing the Catalogue for the Implementation of Registration of Overseas Enterprises Producing Imported Foods.

This Announcement promulgates the Catalogue for the Implementation of Registration of Overseas Enterprises Producing Imported Foods, in accordance with the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China and the Regulation on the Implementation thereof, the Law of the People's Republic of China on Import and Export Commodity Inspection and the Regulation on the Implementation thereof, and the Provisions on the Administration of Registration of Overseas Enterprises Producing Imported Food (Order No. 145 of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine). Products of a foreign enterprise producing imported food listed in the Catalog may be imported after the foreign enterprise is registered.
The transitional period for the implementation of registration of overseas enterprises producing imported dairy products thereof shall be from the date when this Announcement is issued to May 1, 2014.
