Circular of the General Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs on Publishing the List of Designated Ports Open to Foreign Fishing Vessels Involved in Fisheries Activities (First Batch).

The Circular aims to implement national measures against illegal fishing, strengthen port State inspections and management of foreign fisheries-related vessels, and fulfil China’s obligations under the Agreement on Port State Measures to Prevent, Deter and Eliminate Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing (PSMA). It designates 23 ports, including Tianjin Central Fishing Port, as authorized ports for the entry and inspection of foreign fisheries-related vessels and calls on coastal provincial authorities to ensure effective implementation.
