Decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on Amending Twelve Laws including the Foreign Trade Law of the People's Republic of China.

This Decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress amends twelve laws, including: the Foreign Trade Law, the Maritime Traffic Safety Law, the Customs Law, the Archives Law, the Law on Chinese-Foreign Contractual Joint Ventures, the Sports Law, the Civil Aviation Law, the Law on the Prevention and Control of Environment Pollution Caused by Solid Wastes, the Law on the Coal Industry, the Highway Law, the Meteorology Law, and the Tourism Law.
Paragraph 2 of Article 10 of the Foreign Trade Law is amended to read: “An entity engaging in foreign labor service cooperation shall have corresponding qualifications. The specific measures shall be developed by the State Council.”
Article 12 of the Maritime Traffic Safety Law is amended to read: “Vessels sailing on international routes that enter and leave the ports of the People's Republic of China must be subject to the inspection by the competent authorities.
