Abstract
These Measures are formulated to regulate the adminstration of food safety standards.
The Measures include 45 articles divided into seven Chapters. Chapter 1 General Provisions stipulats principles for standard formulation, and responsibilities of all parties in the Measures. Chapters 2 to 5 stipulate the procedures and specific provisions for the formulation of national standards. Chapter 6 stipulates the requirements for filing local standards. Chapter 7 is Supplementary Provisions.
Regarding national standard management, from the stages of project initiation, drafting, review, publication, revision, and tracking evaluation, it is emphasized that risk assessment should be taken as the scientific basis.
