Administrative Measures for national food safety standards.

These Measures provide for the formulation and revision of food safety standards in order to protect public health.
Formulation and revision of food safety standards include: planning for national food safety standards and the implementation plans thereof; drafting of national food safety standards based on the results of food risk assessment results; examination of drafts; approval and issuance of standards which have passed the examination; and revision and review of the standards.
The Ministry of Health shall set up a Review Committee for National Food Safety Standards which shall be responsible for examining the draft national food safety standards, and provide advisory opinions for the work on national food safety standards.
