Abstract
The purpose of these Measures is to regulate the practice of practicing veterinarians, improve veterinary professional quality, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of veterinarians, and protect animal health and public health safety. The Mmeasures consist of 45 Articles divided into 6 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Qualification Examination (II); Practice Registration and Filing (III); Management of Practice Activities (IV); Penalties (V); Supplementary Provisions(VI).
The Ministry of Agriculture shall be in charge of the administration of practicing of veterinaries of the whole country. The State practices the practicing veterinary examination system. Ministry of agriculture shall organize the establishment of the National Veterinary Qualification Examination Committee, which is responsible for the validation of examination subjects, examination outlines, examination papers, and the supervision, guidance of the examination work. The individuals who have obtained the veterinary practitioner qualification certificate, and engage in diagnosis and treatment of animals, shall apply to the registration authority for veterinary practice registration; the individuals who have obtained the assistant veterinarian qualification certificate and engage in the diagnosis and treatment of animals, shall apply to the registration authority for the filling. Practicing veterinarians shall perform their duties according to law, their rights and interests are protected by law.
