Detailed Rules of Jiangsu Province for Examination of the Sports Nutrition Food Production Licensing.

Type of law

These Detailed Rules are formulated in accordance with the Food Safety Law, the Regulations for the Implementation of the Food Safety Law, the Administrative Measures for Food Production Licensing, aiming to regulate the production license activities of sports nutrition food and strengthen the safety supervision of sports nutrition food.
The Detailed Rules provide for the requirements to be satisfied for inspection and review on production sites, equipment and facility, equipment layout, process flow, personnel, management system (including HACCP system), trial product, etc. The use of food additives in the production process of sports nutrition food should comply with the types and amounts of food additives allowed to be used as prescribed in the National Food Safety Standards for the Use of Food Additives (GB 2760).
