Abstract
These Measures, consisting of 25 Articles, are enacted in accordance with the Regulation on Land Reclamation.
Article 7 provide for the standards for reclamation of land used for agriculture, animal husbandry, forestry and aquaculture. The land reclamation planning formulated by the relevant sectoral management departments shall be coordinated with the local overall land use planning. The land reclamation plan shall be approved by the people's government at the same level and submitted to the land administration department of the people's government at the next higher level for the record. The Text further provides for the measures for inspection and supervision, offences and penalties, compensation, etc.
