Abstract
These Rules are enacted in accordance with the the Measures of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region for Mine Geological Environment Control, aiming to ensure the effective implementation of mine geological environment control. The Rules consist of 47 Articles divided into 5 Chapters: General provisions; Mine geological environment control and improvement; Collection and management of security deposit; Supervision and administration; Legal liabilities.
The term "mine geological environment control and improvement" as mentioned in these Measures includes mine geological environment protection and restoration, control and improvement, and mine land reclamation. Mining enterprises that have been issued mining licenses by the administrative departments of land and resources of autonomous regions shall formulate the Mine Geological Environment Control Schemes in accordance with the requirements of technical standards such as "Technical Requirements of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region for the Preparation of Mine Geological Environment Control Schemes ". The Control Schemes shall be prepared by entities that meets the qualifications as prescribed in Article 6.
