Abstract
This Regulation aims to protect and maintain cultivated land, improve soil, and ensure sustainable agricultural development.
The Regulation consists of 6 Chapters: General provisions; Cultivated land use and protection; Cultivated land fertilization and improvement; Guarantee measures for cultivated land protection and maintenance; Penalties; Supplementary provisions.
The people's governments at and above the county level shall arrange a certain amount of farmland maintenance funds, and increase investment in cultivated land protection and maintenance year by year. The agricultural and animal husbandry administrative departments of the people's governments at or above the county level shall establish a cultivated land quality monitoring and evaluation system, improve the cultivated land quality monitoring network and early warning system, and conduct dynamic monitoring of cultivated land fertility and environmental conditions.
