Interim Provisions on the Qualification System for Mineral Reserve Appraisers to Practice Their Profession.

These Interim Measures, consisting of 13 articles, are enacted to ensure the quality of mineral resources reserves assessment, strengthen and standardize the management of assessment personnel, and improve the quality and professional level of assessment personnel.
The qualification system for mineral reserve assessors belongs to the category of professional qualification. It shall be incorporated into the unified planning of the qualification system for professional and technical personnel and shall be confirmed and approved by the State (art. 2). In order to be employed to undertake the mineral resources reserve appraisal business, a person needs to obtain the qualification certificate of a mineral reserve appraiser (art. 3). The Ministry of Land and Resources is responsible for the organization and implementation of the qualification system for mineral reserves assessors. The Ministry of Human Resources is responsible for supervision and inspection (art. 4).
