Measures for the Administration of the Law-based Disclosure of Environmental Information by Enterprises.

For the purposes of regulating the law-based disclosure of environmental information by enterprises and strengthening public oversight, these Measures are developed in accordance with the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, the Cleaner Production Promotion Law of the People's Republic of China, the Measures for Developing the Provisions on the Public Disclosure of Information by Public Enterprises and Institutions, the Plan for the Reform of the Rules for the Legal Disclosure of Environmental Information and other relevant laws, regulations and documents.
The Ministry of Ecology and Environment shall be responsible for the organization, guidance, supervision, and administration of the law-based disclosure of environmental information nationwide.
According to Articles 11 to 15 of the Measures, enterprises need to prepare annual environmental information disclosure reports and temporary environmental information disclosure reports according to law, and upload them to the enterprise environmental information disclosure system according to law. The Measures also stipulate that enterprises can change the disclosed environmental information according to the actual situation; If the change is made, it shall be made in the form of a report on the legal disclosure of temporary environmental information, and the change items and reasons shall be explained.
