Abstract
These Measures regulate the administration of pesticide labels and manuals and improve the pesticide registration system.
The Measures lay down the contents of pesticide labels and manuals which shall specify the pesticide name, place of production, enterprise name, date of production and expiry date, quantity of contents, toxicity, ingredients, etc. Provisions are also made for indicating the way in which labels shall be printed.
For pesticide used for the farm, if bees, birds, silkworms, earthworms, natural enemies, fish, and other aquatic organisms and the environment are prone to adverse effects, they shall be clearly explained, and the preventive measures during use, cleaning requirements of application instruments, treatment methods of residual drugs and waste packaging materials shall be marked; for household pesticides, if they are easy to cause harm to people, animals and the environment, the preventive measures shall be marked.
