Measures for Determination and Handling Falsification of Environmental Monitoring Data.

These Measures, consisting of 18 Articles, are formulated to ensure the authenticity and accuracy of environmental monitoring data, and investigate and punish the falsification of environmental monitoring data in accordance with the law.
Environmental monitoring agencies and their responsible persons are responsible for the authenticity and accuracy of monitoring data.The organization responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of automatic environmental monitoring equipment and its person in charge shall be responsible for the monitoring data in accordance with the operation and maintenance contract. The environmental protection departments of people's governments at or above the prefecture level shall be responsible for investigating falsification of environmental monitoring data.
