Measures of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for Implementing the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of Earthquake Monitoring.

The purpose of these Measures is to strengthen the administration of earthquake monitoring activities and improve earthquake monitoring abilities. The text consists of 29 Articles.
The regional competent seismic work department shall formulate a general plan for national earthquake monitoring networks and the plans for state earthquake monitoring networks on the basis of the national earthquake monitoring and prediction plan. The facilities and software meeting the national standards and industry standards or the relevant technology requirements for earthquake monitoring shall be adopted for the building of national earthquake monitoring networks and special earthquake monitoring networks. The regional goverment encourages and supports the scientific research on earthquake monitoring, popularizes the application of advanced earthquake monitoring technology, and carries out international cooperation and exchange on earthquake monitoring.
