Measures of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for Implementing the Fire Protection Law of the People's Republic of China.

These Measures are enacted for the purpose of preventing fire and reducing harm caused by fire hazards, strengthening the emergency rescue work, protecting the personal and property safety, and maintaining public security. The Law are divided into 8 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Fire Prevention Responsibilities (II); Fire Prevention (III); Fire Protection Organizations (IV); Fire Fighting and Rescue (V); Supervision and Inspection (VI); Legal Responsibility (VII); Supplementary Provisions (VIII).
The people's governments at or above the county level shall perform the duties, arrange funds for public fire protection facilities and fire protection service in the financial budgets, establish a joint conference system for fire protection work, and strengthen emergency rescue and rehabilitation work of major fire accidents. In the preparation of urban and rural planning, towns and villages shall plan fire protection water sources, fire protection communication and fire protection channels in accordance with the requirements of relevant provisions; township and rural industrial and civil building design and construction shall comply with the relevant national building design code for fire protection.
