These Measures, consisting of 24 Articles, are enacted to guarantee the quality and safety of aquatic products in producing areas, safeguard public health and life safety, and promote the sustainable development of fisheries.
The competent fishery authorities at the municipal and county levels shall strengthen supervision and management of the production and operation of aquatic seedlings and strictly implement the aquatic seedling production licensing system. Producers shall abide by relevant laws and regulations on feed and feed additives, fishery drug management and provisions on the safety use of fishery inputs, establish and improve the system for the safe use of fishery inputs.
