Abstract
These Measures, consisting of 19 articles, are formulated for the purpose of implementing the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Specialized Farmers’ Cooperatives.
A specialized farmers’ cooperatives shall be registered through the Industrial and Commercial Administration according to law, and shall regulate the internal management and carry out agricultural production and service activities (art. 3). The agriculture administrative departments of People's governments at or above the county level shall be responsible for the guidance, support and services of specialized farmers’ cooperatives (art.5).
The Text further provides for support policies, the management and administration of cooperatives and their funds, and offences and penalties.
