Measures of Liaoning Province on Implementing Agriculture Technology Extension Law of the People's Republic of China.

The purpose of these Measures is to make the scientific research achievements and technology be applied to agricultural production as soon as possible, promote the development of high yield and high quality and high efficiency agriculture and the modernization of agriculture. The Text consists of 32 Articles divided into 6 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Agriculture technology extension system (II); Agriculture technology extension and application (III); Safeguards for agricultural technology extension (IV); Rewards and punishment (V); Supplementary provisions (VI).
The Measures provide mainly for: (i) the functions and duties of agricultural technology extension institutions, the village agricultural technology integrated service stations and farmer technicians; (ii) the integration of key agricultural technology extension projects into scientific development planning; (iii) the policies and measures to secure and increase agricultural technology extension funds, ensure working conditions of agricultural technology extension institutions, and improve working and living conditions of specialized technical personnel. In addition, the Measures provide for the offences and penalties.
