Measures for the management of the energy-saving low-carbon-emission product certification.

These Measures are enacted according to the Energy Conservation Law and the Certification and Accreditation Regulations aiming to improve the energy using products and other products to improve the efficiency of energy utilization, material utilization, control of greenhouse gas emissions, climate change, standardization and management of low carbon energy-saving product certification activities. The Act consists of 41 Articles divided into 5 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Implementing the Accreditation (II); Certifications and certification marks (III); Supervision and Administration (IV); Supplementary Provisions (V).
Institutions to be engaged in inspection and testing activities related to energy saving and low carbon product certification shall be subject to qualification accreditation according to law, and shall be approved by the central competent authority.
