Abstract
These Measures are enacted in accordance with the Forest Law, the Grassland Law, the Forest Fire Prevention Regulations, the Wetland Protection Management Regulations and the Measures for Management of Forestry Workstations.
The forestry and grassland administrative department of the local people's government at or above the county level shall provide necessary professional guidance and technical support for rural forest rangers. The duties of the rural forest rangers include: (1) Understand the status of forest and grass resources in the management and protection area, carry out daily patrols, make patrol records, and report on the production and operation activities in the management and protection area; (2) Assist in the management of fire in the wild, discover and deal with hidden fire hazards and report fire in a timely manner, and assist relevant agencies in investigating forest and grassland fire cases; etc.
